The Abu Dhabi fragrance, composed by perfumer Mylène Arlan, has a guest of honor: the date. This tasty fruit, emblematic of the Al Aïn oasis, an Emirati cultural and plant heritage, gives the fragrance its delicately generous, enveloping character. Abu Dhabi feels like the gentle undulation of a palm, and the caress of a fabric, that of al Sadu, a traditional Bedouin weaving technique, which adorns the flacon.

About the flacon: Abu Dhabi’s flacon is inspired by Al-Sadu patterns, the Emirati traditional technique of weaving.

From the tranquil balance between sea and desert, a fragrance emerges as the fruit of joyous encounters. It is the fruit in its truest sense. A precious date ripens, sublime, sugary, and succulent. Then comes the plum with its salt-kissed warmth, carrying the soft undulation of the dune and tide. Its name is burnished by the sands of Al Wathba by the Arabian Gulf, as rounded as the landscape of the Mangrove National Park. Amid the evening air, it greets the amber and saffron reflected in a glass titan, which shimmers on the water’s surface. Could it be the dreamy vision of a fragrance bottle emerging there? Abu Dhabi: its name oscillates in two beats, swaying in time with the palm fronds in the Al Ain Oasis, where it is also welcomed by the aromatic freshness of cardamom and woody fullness of vetiver. Memo Paris has named this exclusive olfactory gesture Weaving, in reference to Al-Sadu fabric that inspires the flacon's visual, a traditional Emirati weaving technique. French artist living and working in Paris, his youth was influenced by pop and urban culture, graffiti, and comics. He has always painted, and his research focuses on the interplay of textures, color harmonies, motifs, and abstract forms, which he multiplies on supports ranging from canvas to paper, wall, wood or installation - with a preference for very large formats. His universe, which features mainly plant elements, plays on graphic repetition and visual loops, becoming at once dreamlike and hypnotic, plunging the viewer into a singular world.
