Shams Oud

Shams means “sun” in Arabic, and the supreme star is indeed the glowing hearth of the fragrance, the inspiration for its woody, leather-scented incandescence, its blazing accents, the golden color of the fragrance. And the Shams formula has all the density of a spell. An oud in the house of the sun

Shams means "sun" in Arabic. Legend has it that the Persian god Mithra climbed into his gold-covered chariot at dawn and whipped his horses forward to pull the sun across the sky until dusk. But at nightfall, it was swallowed by a man, only to return to life at dawn... The heat makes our hearts swell in a hand-to-hand combat of pepper, ginger and saffron. The only guide in the house of the sun is the haunting music of Oud, its main chords of tonka bean, its dreams of wood and its promises of glorious love.

Likes: Well, I got magnificent amount of big size samples and could not be happier. As one Memo is never enough
Improvements: Price 😅 but I do not think it is possible. Maybe more option of 30ml? Would make it a little bit more affordable. Or option to build the sample set yourself.

Shams Oud is my first full size perfume from Memo and I love it! It is woody and warm, perfect combination for Dutch weather.

My favorite perfume

I first bought Shams Oud 10 years ago. Since then it has been my favorite perfume. I've never ordered perfume online, and I must say the experience was great. I can definitely say I'm Memo addicted! Can’t wait to order a whole Leather line one by one 🫶
